HOMESTEAD IMC MISSION STATEMENT

The Merton V. Campbell Instructional Media Center continues to work towards becoming the core of the learning environment at Homestead High School.  Students, faculty, and staff will access, evaluate, use and communicate information in a variety of formats with the leadership, instruction, and consulting assistance of the IMC staff.  The collection will support and expand the curriculum, reflect and support diverse individual interests and needs, cultivate and enhance aesthetic appreciation, increase literacy for all and promote lifelong learning.
IMC Hours:
Monday-Friday 7 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.
The IMC is open during both lunches, early release days, and final exams.

The Homestead High School IMC supports the Mequon-Thiensville School District learning initiatives at all levels and in all subjects.

MTSD INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY VISION STATEMENT

The Mequon-Thiensville School District envisions a learning community where all participants are ethical, effective and responsible users of technology and information resources.

MTSD INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MISSION STATEMENT

To accomplish this vision, the school district must:

- Create an environment that fosters a passion for exploration and discovery.
- Promote and support intellectual curiosity, imagination and excitement for learning.
- Challenge participants to pursue their own learning, and enhance individual achievement while collaborating with others.
- Expect participants to model and practice ethical and responsible use of technology and information resources.
- Prepare participants to manage and evaluate information for accuracy and validity.
